Congrats to Team Den Druken Varg: Josiah Jenkins, Phil Meister,  Jeff Murdoch, and Jen Staben.
In the final minutes of the game, Eric Pederson led a heroic charge by wrestling Josiah to the ground, trying to physically force him to say his kill word, “End.”  Between Josiah’s ability to squirm away, and Jen’s last second defense by stopping Josiah from singing along to “End of the Road,” Den Druken Varg emerged victorious.  They will receive a free improv show slot at the Playground for their win.

Day 4 Recap

The Game is halfway over!  Today was the bloodiest yet, totaling 8 kills leaving no team unaffected.  The morning started with a controversial moment when only Scientists received the days kill words and clues. 

Teams all verged on the sixth floor of the Harold Washington Library most of the day, searching for a book in a giant floor of book stacks.  It came down to the wire, until finally this happened.

The team with the MacGuffin must now last until the Karate Van party Saturday night to claim victory.

Tuesday Stats:

Needless to say, there were no kills today.

Day 2 Recap

Pharmacists logged one kill today to tie the score up with Snuffalafagus. The rest of today’s events are listed below:

Saturday Stats:

  • Trash Dick Coleman: 2 Deaths, 2 Medic Saves
  • The 4 Grrr: 1 Kill, 1 Death, NO MEDIC SAVES

That’s right, The 4 Grrr were unable to provide medical attention to their Assassin, John Anderson, who is now PERMANENTLY DEAD (in this fictitious game). Congratulations to Den Druken Varg for the kill.

  Some rules that have popped up over the killings:
  • A kill occurs only when: the victim first says the kill word and then the attacking assassin tells their victim that the kill word has been said.  This prevents medics from just shouting out their own kill words to kill nearby enemy assassins.
  • When an assassins kills someone, they must let the victim know what kill word they said.  (some assasssins were unsure if they needed to tell their victim what word caused them to die)
